I'm not sure if any apps can connect with my fitness pal could help you along with your R.

You do have a great idea of using the app in class. Especially with using Google for presentations, then having them eventually blog and connect with a nutrition expert.sherlockwriterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08255599142135132355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1824671950594474946.post-1327114741673305262015-02-13T06:06:40.749-08:002015-02-13T06:06:40.749-08:00I like those ideas thanks!I like those ideas thanks!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15040664725089855905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1824671950594474946.post-91135022632274483342015-02-11T20:23:23.259-08:002015-02-11T20:23:23.259-08:00While reading your blog, several ideas came to my ...While reading your blog, several ideas came to my mine that I think will also be a benefit to your students. Like for substitution the students could use the calendar app on their phone to keep track of your assignments. augmentation-read from audio books, modification-Google Drive , and create a health wellness video.funconehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11758758482443876645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1824671950594474946.post-34979493271602724202015-02-08T17:29:22.431-08:002015-02-08T17:29:22.431-08:00I can definitely see how some of those things take...I can definitely see how some of those things take place. I know there are teachers in my school that don't like when other teachers allow students to use their phones. And I guess my thought is if the students are using their phone during the time you're supposed to be working then if they're wasting time playing games they're wasting their own time and therefore going to have to do more of the work at home. My classroom rule is if I'm talking or if the class is in a class discussion then I don't want to see the phone. If they use it during this time I take it away. If they're working on an assignment then I do not care if they use their phone.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15040664725089855905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1824671950594474946.post-90009279412270967702015-02-07T10:50:08.615-08:002015-02-07T10:50:08.615-08:00I like the idea of allowing students to bring in t...I like the idea of allowing students to bring in their own technology. This helps with schools who have limited technology or schedules to contend with. I tried this last year and had major problems. I had students texting during class, sneaking and playing games in their desk. I tried to resolve this problem by making them turn in their technology to me during whole class times. But then I'd have students who didn't turn it in and I'd have to go do detective work to see who hadn't turned it in. I'm sure at the high school level you wouldn't have this problem as much. I also had the problem of other teachers getting mad at me for allowing it when they didn't or the administration determining who had them and if if they were in my class. I would like to allow it since I only have 4 laptops down from the 12 last year.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05989081473312253657noreply@blogger.com
